New in Greece’s first league
Morgan Schneiderlin continues his career in Greece. The central midfielder, who played for Konyaspor in Turkey last season and was recently without a club, was introduced to first division newcomers AE Kifisias on Saturday. The 15-time French international is the 17th new signing for the club, which was only founded in 2012 and is competing in Super League 1 for the first time.
Schneiderlin is moving on a free transfer for the second time in a row; he has brought in millions in transfer fees four times during his career. In 2015, Manchester United paid the most to Southampton FC with 35 million euros, and just a year and a half later they moved on to Everton FC for 23 million euros. Among the French with the highest transfer revenues, that’s enough for the top 25.
