A motorist who misbehaved on the A50 at Nistelrode does not yet have to go into jail from the judge. The man hurled on the highway in 2022, ignored a stop sign from the police and was under the influence of drugs. As if that wasn’t enough, he also drove in on several police cars and during his arrest he resisted that a taser was deployed. The motorist received a suspended prison sentence of six months from the judge.

The man rode on the A50 in April 2022 when he got a stop sign from the police because he hurled and there was an export license plate on the car. Such a license plate is only valid for two weeks, so the police wanted to check that. The man did not pull anything from the stop sign, after which the police started the pursuit. The driver then drove at high speed on several police cars.

Eventually the agents managed to drive the car against the crash barrier. The driver was arrested and his car was seized. The arrest did not go without a struggle because the man tried to pull himself off with violence and he ignored all the instructions of the police.

The police judge imposed a prison sentence of six months suspended with a probationary period of three years and a three -year driving cancellation. He also has to pay the three agents with his car on a compensation of 600 euros per person and all the costs they have incurred.
