Man wanted to have rivals killed by Darknet contract killers

Nico loves Rico, but he already loves Andy. Andy has to go, thinks Nico – and hires a contract killer on the dark web, paid with a loan (22,000 euros).

“It should look like an accident or a robbery,” he says, “the faster the better.” Only Rico, the object of his desire, should not be hurt under any circumstances…

There is Nico F. (28), the accused. Restaurant manager, sad eyes. Assassination order March 7, 2022, arrested April 8, behind bars until September 27. Released again despite the outrageous charge of attempted incitement to murder. threatened for life.

This is what Rico F. (34) says, Nico’s great love, graphic designer, photographer: “I met Nico at the gym. We both lived in Dresden. I had no romantic interest in him. He knew I was taken. The fact that we once got physically close after a party didn’t change that. I then moved to Berlin to my partner.”

Andy L. (38), potential victim, media designer says: “After twelve years of a long-distance relationship, such a slip-up is not nice, but it is not a reason for separation. Then the police came to our door. Someone had paid for someone to kill me! I still have panic attacks today.”

Nico’s confession: “I thought if Andy was gone my problems would be gone too. Rico was good for me, I had a crush on him, I dressed like him. But after the one-night stand, he didn’t give me any hope.”

He never met Rico’s husband in Berlin. Then he came across the killer offer on the Darknet: “You could choose from a killer list from 10,000 euros.”

Nico took the money from a loan he had taken out for cosmetic surgery on his nose, paid in bitcoins: “I clung to the thought, everything will be better after that.”

But then the rude awakening. The operator of the site wrote to him that he had fallen for a scam: “If I don’t want them to report me to the police, I should offer myself as a fake hitman. I would then get 30 percent of the killer wage.”

According to the prosecutor, the police tracked down Nico F. through research by a journalist. Judgment on December 8th.
