A man was seriously injured in an industrial accident on Havenweg in Waalwijk on Monday afternoon. The man became trapped under a car and bled profusely.
The man was trying to unload cars from a truck trailer and became trapped under one of the cars. A colleague, who was unloading further away, heard the victim’s screams and rushed over.
She managed to drive the car forward and keep the brakes on until emergency services arrived.
Research
Several emergency services rushed to the scene. An air ambulance also landed in the area. The man was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
The Labor Inspectorate is investigating the accident.
