A 36-year-old motorist was arrested in Tilburg on Friday afternoon after he threatened another motorist with a firearm. The victim was driving near the Westermarkt around half past five, when the suspect suddenly stood next to him on the left and gestured vigorously to him. Apparently the suspect felt that the man had hindered him in traffic.
He then continued to follow the victim.
“I’ll shoot you!”
The perpetrator also got out on Sportweg, where the victim wanted to walk home. He threatened with a gun and shouted several times that he will shoot the man.
People who saw this came to their aid and held the suspect back until the police arrived.
