Around half past ten Monday evening there was a stabbing in a parking lot at Stationsplein in Eindhoven. This confirms a police spokesperson. He does not know how serious the victim is, but that the man was rushed to a hospital. The spokesperson also reports that agents are looking for a suspect.

The victim was next to the station near the bicycle shed and the taxi stand. After the report, two ambulances and a trauma helicopter were alerted. The victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.

The reason for the stabbing is being investigated. Screens were placed around the place where the person was injured.

The police are looking for the perpetrator in the area. There was also a search for Venlo at the station and on a train that would go for Venlo. Agents have combed the train, but nobody found it.

An area next to the station is trimmed with ribbons, the forensic investigation is switched on to do trace research.
