Man seriously injured in stabbing in Ostend, perpetrator on the run

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. along Torhoutsesteenweg, near Professor MacLeodplein. The exact circumstances are not yet known, but it is certain that a man suffered serious injuries in the stabbing. The victim was taken to hospital. He is now out of danger.
