A man was seriously injured last night in a stabbing on Heathrowstraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, near Sloterdijk station. He suffered stab wounds in a fight in a hotel parking lot. The police still don’t know who he is. They are also looking for a woman who is believed to have been a key witness to the brawl.
The stabbing incident took place around 11:45 pm last night. After the fight, the victim reported injuries to the hotel. The police cannot say whether he was stabbed with a knife or another object. He has been taken to hospital and is out of danger.
Unknown victim
The police still do not know who the victim is. That’s why they like to get in touch with people who know more about who was stabbed yesterday. They are also looking for an important witness. It concerns a woman who was walking on the other side of the hotel at the time of the fight and then got into a taxi.
Anyone who knows more about the identity of the victim, the woman who witnessed it or the taxi driver who picked her up is asked to get in touch.
