A motorist was seriously injured on Monday after colliding head-on with an oncoming car. The accident happened on the Langstraat / N270 in Deurne. An air ambulance has landed. The road is closed in both directions.
A motorist came from the direction of Venray and ended up on the wrong side of the road on the N270. The driver hit the oncoming car head-on. The oncoming driver was seriously injured by the impact and was taken to the Radboud Hospital in Nijmegen.
The other driver was also injured and taken to hospital in Helmond. The police are having an accident analysis carried out. The road will be closed in both directions until at least a quarter past six.
