A man was mistreated on Saturday afternoon by a group of eight to nine people in the Beilenstraat in Tilburg, because he would have made a sexually tinted remark to the girlfriend of one of the boys. The man thereby sustained injuries on his face, arms and hands.
The Leijdal police received a report in the afternoon from a man who would have been beaten up by a group of eight to nine people. Once arrived at the playground, the police found the group of the witness’s description.
The victim was considerably injured on his face, arms and hands, but had already gone home. The suspect confessed in the playground that he had beaten the man and that he should not have done this.
Sexual remark
According to the suspect, the man made a sexually tinted remark to his girlfriend. He then spoke to the man and provoked himself.
Subsequently, the mistreatment would have taken place. The police then went home with the man who sustained injuries, but he did not want to report it. The police therefore only record the incident in the system.
