Police say that emergency services were alerted just before 4:20 p.m. When officers arrived there, the victim had regained consciousness. He was taken to hospital with injuries.
No arrest after assault
The police then spoke to the person who threw the punch. “At that time it was decided not to arrest him,” said a spokesperson. “He was cooperative, his details were taken and he made an initial statement.”
What exactly preceded the assault and what the role of both men was is still being investigated. “We are awaiting a possible declaration for this.”
