The man (57) who died on Sunday at the mental health institution GGzE in Eindhoven was killed ‘with great violence’. The man (30) who was later arrested would have hit him several times with an object on his head and body. This is reported by the Public Prosecution Service.
Like the victim, the suspect stayed in De Grote Beek of GGzE and was arrested shortly after the incident.
On Wednesday, he was brought before the examining magistrate, who ruled that he will be detained for at least two weeks longer. He is suspected of murder.

The police are investigating exactly what happened. The suspect is currently staying in a Penitentiary Psychiatric Center.
