A man was injured in a shooting in Berkel-Enschot on Sunday morning. According to bystanders, the man was shot from a house. Photos show that officers found three air guns.
That happened on the Berkelseweg. The victim was hit in the leg and then staggered to Durendaelweg.
A little later the police arrived. They closed off the area and raided the house where the shooting took place. Another man was arrested there. Officers also came out with three air guns, which they probably found inside.
Victim taken to hospital
There was also a police helicopter hovering over Berkel-Enschot for a while. The victim was taken to hospital.
It is not yet clear why shots were fired: the police are still investigating the case. Bystanders say that the perpetrator and the victim did not know each other.
