A man (36) from Vierlingsbeek was arrested on Tuesday morning for involvement in an explosion in Boxmeer. There, a poop bomb exploded at a bridal shop early in the morning of April 9.
Surveillance images of the explosion, which Omroep Brabant has seen, showed that a plastic container with feces was placed in front of the store by someone dressed in the dark. First five or six smaller explosions took place in the container, after which a larger explosion spread the feces against the facade of the bridal shop.
After a police investigation, the 36-year-old man from Vierlingsbeek came into the picture. He was arrested at his home on Tuesday morning. He is in custody and is being interrogated.
