A man fell three floors in the Piazza shopping center in Eindhoven on Wednesday afternoon. The man fell from the second floor and ended up between the escalators, on level -1. The man was seriously injured.
The shopping center was very busy at the time of the fall. People heard a loud bang, then the seriously injured man was found. Part of the shopping center was closed to the public. Emergency services responded en masse.
It is still unclear how the man fell down. The police have not ruled out a deliberate action by the man. The man was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Tilburg.
