In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a man entered the hospital in Emmen with stab injuries.
The man, a 22-year-old resident of Emmen, reported around 2:30 am. He has been admitted to hospital.
The victim left at the beginning of the night walking from the Kwekebos towards Laan van de Eekharst, in the Emmerhout district.
He states that he was stabbed by a man at the Eekharst pond. The suspect, who was said to be wearing dark clothing, may have then cycled away. The police are investigating the matter and are asking witnesses to come forward.
