The electric wheelchair fell into the water at the Queenveenspad in Geldrop. The police cannot yet say how long the man was in the water and what the cause of the accident is. Police have completed the investigation and say no foul play has been committed, a police spokesperson said.

Near the Queensveenpad, a dog was walking around loose with a leash on. The police do not yet want to say whether the person on the electric wheelchair was walking his dog. They must first determine that the dog really belongs to the victim.
