The fatal shots were fired when the victim returned home around half past one, Omroep Brabant knows. The police received a report from nearby residents. Emergency services then arrived en masse, but the man died despite resuscitation by emergency services.
In front of the house of the shot man is a car with the door still open. The victim is in the neighbor’s yard. The street has been cordoned off and tactical and forensic investigators have launched an investigation. Police are asking witnesses to the shooting to come forward.
The two possible suspects are said to have worn dark clothing. According to local media, they fled in an unknown direction after the shots. Police are looking for them, but no description of either has been released yet.
