The police arrested a man in Best on Thursday who was making a lot of noise. The man was caught behind the wheel for the sixth time even though he has no driver’s license at all.
This happened during a major traffic control on the Oude Rijksweg. The man’s car has been seized and a report has been drawn up against him.
Pepper spray, knives and drugs
During the check, the police discovered even more remarkable things. Three throwing knives and a bayonet were found. In one of the cars, officers found a bottle of pepper spray in the center console, which was also seized.
A total of sixteen fines were issued, including for driving through a red light, possession of drugs and driving with broken lights. A motorist was also fined for driving around with Christmas lights on his car. Ten road users got away with a warning.
