With the help of the Netherlands, the police have arrested a 45-year-old man in Moldova who is suspected of involvement in a cyber attack on the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). According to Moldavian media, this is an attack in 2021, carried out by the Doppelparmer group. Due to the hack, the treatment of subsidy applications for research stopped for a few weeks. The damage of the attack would be around 4.5 million euros, according to the Moldavian police.
