Man (86) resuscitated after heart failure in Ypres

The facts happened in the afternoon, at a quarter to one, on the Diksmuidseweg at the end of the Ieper-IJzer canal. Emergency services came to the scene because a man had become unwell on the street. Local residents had already partially closed off the street. CPR was already underway when the Fire Brigade arrived. After twenty minutes, the man regained consciousness. Police suspect it was a heart failure. The man has been taken to hospital. The road was reopened to traffic half an hour later.
