A 49-year-old man died in the water on Maasboulevard in Den Bosch on Monday afternoon. The man went into the water around 5 p.m.
Emergency services searched for the man and the man was resuscitated. At a quarter past six, the police reported that the man had died.
It is not clear how the man ended up in the water.
There were many people on the Maasboulevard who saw how the man was taken out of the water.
