During the search of the house, more than 78,000 euros in cash and various data carriers were seized. This showed images of containers that are in use at Schiphol for the transport of goods by air freight. The suspect is said to be involved in several shipments of cocaine totaling about 900 kilograms.
The investigation team suspects that the suspect was in close contact with employees of companies located at Schiphol. If there is an indication that employees of companies at Schiphol are engaged in criminal activities, the Marechaussee will conduct further investigations under the direction of the Public Prosecution Service Noord-Holland.
