A 44-year-old man was found dead on Saturday evening in his home at Mgr. Van Den Tillaartstraat in Veghel arrested after threatening police officers. The man may have used a firearm. That weapon has been confiscated. Police then found more weapons in his home.
Earlier in the evening, the police received a report that the 44-year-old man had an acute need for help and that he may have a firearm. The man then threatened officers. With the help of a negotiator, the police eventually managed to arrest the man.
After the arrest, the possible firearm was seized. Police then searched the man’s home where they found more weapons that were seized. The suspect is being held at the police station for further investigation and interrogation.
