Man (42) died after car ended up in the water near Nieuw-Vennep

The single-vehicle accident happened around 9:20 p.m. There were two people in the car, who were rescued from the water by the fire brigade’s diving team. Both were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Later in the evening it was announced that the man, who comes from Rijnsaterwoude, had died.
