A blind Canadian man may soon be able to see again thanks to a surprising solution: his own tooth. In one of Canada’s first ‘tooth-in-eye’ operations, a team of surgeons used the tooth of Brent Chapman (33) to restore his view. This rare procedure, called Osteo-Odonto Keratoprostthesis (alsop), has been fighting blindness elsewhere in the world for decades.
