A 30-year-old man died on Saturday afternoon after he drove a tree with his delivery van on the Dalemsedijk in Eersel.
The driver is from Eersel. He drove from his hometown to Hapert when he hit the intersection with the large earth’s road of the road. The car drove over a number of concrete horror blocks that are in the bend and then drove a tree via a ditch. The man died on the spot.
The man was the only passenger of the car. The police are conducting technical investigation into the accident and cannot say anything about the cause.
The Grote Aardweg and the Dalemsedijk are closed to traffic.
