Man (28) died in accident with truck in Herselt, four friends seriously injured: “This is really a drama”

In a heavy traffic accident on the Aarschotsesteenweg in Herselt, the 28-year-old JVE from Westerlo died on Saturday morning around 4 o’clock. Four friends between 25 and 32 years old were seriously injured. One of the passengers and the driver are still in danger. Their vehicle, a Fiat 500, was hit by a truck with a double trailer. The driver of the Fiat 500 took a positive breath test, his driver’s license was withdrawn. The young people also sat in the car with too many people. The truck driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
