The suspect allegedly approached his victims online in a misleading manner over a period of six years. The ultimate goal was to be able to make a sex appointment. This way of making contact via the internet is also known as grooming.

According to the justice department, it has been established that there was physical contact. Furthermore, the victims were put under pressure and there was sexual assault and abuse. The man is further accused of distributing child pornography and sexually explicit images in which he himself appeared. The suspect also appeared to be in illegal possession of a gun.

The justice department agrees with the probation service’s advice to have the suspect admitted to a clinic for two years after serving the sentence. He would also have to spend another year in prison if he does not comply with the conditions for the next five years or if he makes a mistake in some other way. According to justice, the man should have known that his victims were minors.
