A 26-year-old man from Poland was arrested on Tuesday night on Professor Asserweg in Waalwijk. He turned out to have escaped from prison in his home country. He has since been subject to an international arrest warrant.
The man will soon be extradited to Poland. There he still has to serve the remaining 21 months of his prison sentence. It is not known why the man ended up in prison.
