Mammut appoints new CPO

Swiss outerwear brand Mammut has appointed Paul Cosgrove to the position of Chief Product Officer.

Cosgrove will take up his new position on October 1, Mammut announced on Thursday. He comes to Mammut from the Swedish outerwear brand Haglöfs. Before that he worked for the brands Montane and Berghaus. According to Mammut, the Brit has “extensive knowledge of global procurement, working with suppliers, leading product development teams and developing sustainable product lines”.

“Paul is an outdoor product expert with 20 years of experience. He has a proven track record of developing some of the most commercial and technical product ranges,” said Greg Nieuwenhuys, Executive Chairman at Mammut. “I am confident that Paul is the right leader for our product team, which already has so many passionate and talented people.”

With the appointment of Cosgrove, Mammut is further restructuring its management level. Since the change of ownership of Mammut Sports Group AG from Conzzeta to Telemos Capital, the top management has changed. Managing Director Oliver Pabst resigned from his position in September. In addition, at the beginning of February it was announced that Wilhelm Matheson would assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and Simen Mordre would be appointed interim CCO.
