A man and three children were injured in a collision between two cars on Saturday on the Gertrudisboulevard in Bergen op Zoom. The police announced on Sunday that one of the cars was probably part of a wedding procession. “The wedding procession is said to have driven through the city with a lot of bombing and high speed. The police hope for images of the wedding procession and witnesses who have seen the decorated cars.”
The accident happened around a quarter past four in the afternoon. The two motorists were probably bumped into each other when one wanted to turn and the other wanted to catch up. The inhaling car came to a halt against a tree. The four victims were in this car. Two were seriously injured, including one of the children.
The drivers both have undergone a drug and alcohol test. Nobody was under the influence. The police are looking for witnesses and images that the accident have seen happen.
