UFC fighter Makwan Amirkhani knocked out Jonathan Pearce said that he could hardly wait to meet the Finn in the cage. According to Pearce, Amirkhani had been harassing him all week before the July UFC fight in London.

– I really wanted to draw consciousness from him, Pearce said of BJPenn.com in the interview.

Pearce said he had seen Amirkhan several times before the two met in the Octagon. Pearce had felt bullied around Amirkhan.

– The guy bullied me all week. He huffed and came in front of me and wouldn’t let me pass.

– I don’t know what kind of culture is in his country, but I was ready to hurt him because he behaved disrespectfully.

Pearce beat Amirkhan’s blood and the match ended in the second round with the victory of the Yankee fighter due to a technical knockout.

– Maybe he tried to get inside my head, but it didn’t work, Pearce acknowledged.

Pearce remained undefeated in the featherweight division. The victory was his fourth in the UFC.

Amirkhan’s UFC career stats now stand at seven wins and six losses.
