On April 17, 2023, the television host, together with the company FLY TDF SA, presented an offer letter for the acquisition of Radio Panda SRL, a firm that had the 107.9 frequency in its hands, which at that time was Radio Berlin. Both Gabriel Hochbaum and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Javier Milei have been part of the FLY TDF SA company since 2023.
The Werthein Group is one of the largest holding companies in the country and owns various companies with different activities, both in Argentina, the United Kingdom and the United States. The former ambassador to the United States of the Libertarian administration and personal friend of Bill Clinton, is a shareholder in the newspaper El Cronista and the Uruguayan multimedia El Observador. In 2021, the Werthein emporium acquired 100% of Vrio Corp, which is made up of the telecommunications company DirecTV Argentina, which in turn owns the company Torneos, which manages the sports signal TyC Sports.
