Two men (24 and 27) robbed a house on Moleneind in Prinsenbeek on Friday evening. The pair tried to enter the resident’s home, after which ‘a major struggle ensued’, the police said on Saturday morning.
The robbery took place in the early evening. The perpetrators ultimately escaped without any loot.
The police eventually arrested two men on the Market based on a description. They have been arrested and will be heard on Saturday.
The men both have no permanent place of residence.
