In 2022, the five secondary schools in Poperinge became one. This means, for example, one central administration. And thanks to the new buildings, this centralization goes one step further.
“We have a total of four campuses and there was a campus a little further in the city where around two hundred students attend classes,” says Kristof Christiaen. “But with the new buildings we also want to bring those students here, so that all campuses are adjacent to each other and connect with each other.”
So there will be a ‘school street’ on the site, which is away from the public road and which students can cross to go from one campus to the other. The new school buildings should be completely finished by the spring of 2026.
