Major renovation works in Mercatordok: old marina infrastructure is being replaced

There will be major works in the Mercator dock in Ostend in the coming weeks. The old trading dock only became a pleasure port in the 1970s. The infrastructure of that time must be completely renewed after 50 years. From Monday divers will also be involved. There is now a floating lifting crane in the Mercator dock. Soon all old pontoons will be replaced by new ones.
