A major fire broke out in the top floor of the living area of a farm in Raamsdonksveer on Sunday night. The residents who were at home were able to leave the building on Werfkampenseweg in time. They were not injured and were taken care of by the police.
A spokesperson for the Central and West Brabant Safety Region reported this.
The fire brigade was alerted around twenty past twelve. Eight cars were deployed. The cause of the fire is unknown, it may have started in the chimney.
For the time being, it appears that the fire will not spread to a shed or another building, the spokesperson also said. By a quarter past one the fire had not yet been extinguished. The street was cordoned off by the police.
