The 1. FSV Mainz 05 has to do without Anthony Caci longer. The 28-year-old Frenchman suffered a muscle tendon injury in the right thigh in the 4-1 away win in Augsburg. This resulted in incoming examinations of Caci. However, the Frenchman is not operated on, but treated conservatively.
According to the club, Caci will only be available again at the beginning of the coming year, according to the club, although a return to the training is dependent on the individual healing course.
The former junior national player had moved from his training club RC Strasbourg Alsace to Mainz in 2022, where he has so far reached 107 competitive games, in which he reaches 19 goal involvement. The market value of the CACI, which was last used on the right rail, is estimated at 12 million euros – this taxation is only surpassed by Paul Nebel (24 million euros), Nadiem Amiri and Kaishu Sano (EUR 20 million) at FSV.
