Former Bayern coach Felix Magath criticizes the storm of the record champion. He misses a replacement for Harry Kane.

Ex-Bayern coach Felix Magath has expressed significant criticism of the current offensive of FC Bayern Munich in the “Sky” show “Triple-The Schüttflix Football Talk”. According to a report by BILD.de, Magath mainly criticizes the lack of cooperation between the offensive players and the dependence on star striker Harry Kane.

Magath said on the show: “The offensive has single players with high quality. Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala or Kingsley Coman. But these are single players and not something that plays together.” The 71-year-old sees a problem in the fact that the Munich team has so far not been able to sign a replacement for Kane. This was particularly noticeable when Kane failed for some games in December.

Magath also criticized the lack of harmony between defense and attack: “FC Bayern does not yet have the harmony between defense and attack, which Bayer Leverkusen also awarded last season.” In addition, the game of Bayern lacks clarity and structure. Magath stated: “Due to your individual class, you always get the opponent to make him a mistake, but it doesn’t have a clear game for me.”

Whether criticism is true will be shown in the coming weeks. The team of coach Vincent Kompany stands in front of important games in the Bundesliga and in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen.
