Madonna postpones tour for the time being due to bacterial infection. Ziggo Dome concerts in December are in jeopardy

Madonna has postponed her tour due to a bacterial infection. Her manager Guy Oseary reports this on Instagram. The 64-year-old singer contracted the infection on June 24 and spent several days in intensive care.

“Her health is improving, but she is still under surveillance,” said her manager. “We expect her to make a full recovery. But for now, we’re canceling all commitments, including her tour. We will share more details as soon as we know, including a date when the tour will resume.”

Madonna would go on a big tour this fall, The Celebration Tour. The intention is that the singer will visit the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on December 1 and 2.
