Billy Corgan Go on tour with a complete volume in June and will be songs from classic albums of the Smashing pumpkins play. But the band that is about it will not be the smashing pumpkins. The front man has founded a new quartet, Billy Corgan and the Machines of God. It becomes songs from the albums Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Machina as well as a selection Aghori Mhori Mei Play from 2024.
The tour should be the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie And the 25th anniversary of the albums Machina/The Machines of God and Machina II/The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music celebrate. The German dates in August are again with the original pumpkins Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha.
The tour with the title “A Return to Zero” begins on June 7th in Baltimore and will perform Corgan together with a band with a band, which includes guitarist Kiki Wong, drummer Jake Hayden and the bassist Kid Tigrrr (also known as Jenna Fournier). Corgan also teamed up with the Lyric Opera in Chicago to present “A Night of Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness”. A special series of seven performances planned for November 21 to 30.
Tickets for the tour are initially available as part of a advance booking, which begins on April 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time and lasts until April 3. at 10:00 p.m. local time. The general sale begins on April 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
