Musician Maarit Hurmerinta, 71, says in his Instagram update that he was in hospital and had to surgery. As a result, he is on a break in the June gig.
In his update, Hurmerinta also reveals that he had escaped from the hospital on the day of the study when he was to discuss the upcoming measure with the nurse.
“I belong to the group of fear patients who do not always know how to use rational thinking in treatment situations, and on the day of the research I escaped from the hospital when I had to go out with the nurse more closely about the procedure,” he writes.

Hurmerinta says that the procedure for him was not serious, and he tells more about the gig schedules after Midsummer.
However, Hurmerinta, who was reached by Iltalehti, did not want to comment more than what he had already said in his Instagram update.
Despite his escape, Hurmerinta warmly thanks the care staff for the treatment he received.
– The doctor and nurses were certainly the best in the world. That professionalism and the empathic encounter of the patient made me feel safe.
Iltalehti said earlier in May that Hurmerinta will perform in the fall together with her daughter Janna Hurmerinna with. The concert is part of Circus Finlandia Evening Circus in Finlandia Series, and it is the first co -appearance of the mother and daughter.
