The ratings of the Rob Kemps show The 10 Questions are on the rise. After the episodes with Jeroen Pauw (477 thousand viewers), Johan Derksen (581 thousand) and Richard Groenendijk (448 thousand), it was André van Duin’s turn yesterday. And with that, Rob recorded a viewing figure record: 637 thousand viewers (15 percent market share).

Compliments from Luke

A nice boost for Rob and Luuk Ikink likes to congratulate him on that. “Remarkable that The 10 Questions received a number of negative reviews, but that the number of viewers is growing every day,” the Boulevard star writes on Instagram. “So you see: reviews are just opinions of individuals. Apparently the viewer just likes it more and more.”

Luuk’s reaction will do Rob good, because he recently roared in the AD that he thought the media were so false about the scores of Ik Hou Van Holland. That started with about 600 thousand viewers. “There was immediate criticism. And those numbers would collapse even more, was the story. Two weeks later we had almost a million. The strange thing: you didn’t hear anyone then.”

What does Tina think?

How does audience rating scholar Tina Nijkamp view Rob’s rising ratings? She says: “As with Linda’s Winter Month, the viewing figures depend very much on the guests who have the leading role. For example, Linda with Mark Rutte scored 1.9 million viewers, but Linda with André Rieu only 605 thousand viewers.”

The same goes for The 10 Questions, Tina explains. “André van Duin and Johan Derksen score a lot higher than Jeroen Pauw and Richard Groenendijk.”

Smartest takes gold

Yesterday’s three prime time winners were NPO 1’s De Slimste Mens with 2.4 million viewers (42 percent), RTL 4’s Married At First Sight with 924 thousand viewers (18 percent) and NPO 1’s Over Mijn Lijk with 765 thousand viewers (17 per cent).

Of the talk shows, Op1 (710 thousand viewers) and Jinek (700 thousand) were the most popular, followed by Tijd voor MAX (662 thousand) and HLF8 (347 thousand).
