Geisenberger was also unable to displace Madeleine Egle (Austria), who started after her. The winner of Oberhof last week and Julia Taubitz’s biggest competitor in the fight for the crown in the overall World Cup was only 0.245 seconds behind Geisenberger in third place.
Like Egle, Taubitz didn’t get a good first run either. She was even seven thousandths slower than her opponent and had to settle for fourth place. Anna Berreiter was the last starter, only ninth, 0.503 seconds behind.
