Henry, who has lived in Finland from the age of 5, is looking for love for Love Island Finland. He tells Iltalehti, among other things, his exceptional family background and his nasty -ended football career.

Henry tells Iltalehti at a press conference on the program that he only knows certain things about his biological parents.

– I know so much that I’m orphan. I’ve never met my father and my mother died when I was young. For the first few years, my uncle raised me, he says.

However, Henry has connections to his family in Nigeria and says he is actively connected to them

Henry feels lucky in the sense that he has not experienced much racism in Finland. He describes that he has only experienced so -called “small racism”.

– For example, if I go to the store, people look at me on the side eye and wonder why I’m here. It’s kind of hidden racism, but I don’t care about it.

Injury

Henry has also lived abroad for a moment. He says he has received a scholarship at the time of the corona pandemia and was able to start a football career in the United States. However, the career had a nasty end.

– It ended with offending the knee. There were basic workouts where I took the ball, challenged the opponent and fell. After that, I no longer received a scholarship money. Then I returned to Finland, the man says.

Henry lived in the United States for two and a half years. After injury, he has no longer touched football.

Henry had a good picture of the United States – and local women. According to Henry, American women are bolder than Finns.

– If they see something they want, they will talk directly, he opens.

Henry signs the claim that there is a superficial culture in the United States. However, he emphasizes that everywhere there is not so superficial.

– It depends on where you live. For example, I lived in Florida near Miami and there is really superficial, Henry says.

Henry does not really see anything bad in superficiality.

– Of course it’s ok if you want to be superficial. If it’s someone’s thing, then it is.
