Lunch Kasvio told For Helsingin Sanomatthat many complain about his training. Last week, a woman was yelled at by men in Espoonlahti’s swimming hall.
– There were a lot of complaints that I couldn’t be there when I’m a competitive swimmer, Kasvio said.
He had swam in a course reserved for fast swimmers. The situation didn’t get any easier on Sunday either, even though Kasvio had its own track reserved at that time.
According to Kasvio, it is mainly men who commit inappropriate behavior. For many, it seems like a tough place if a woman passes by.
– When you pass someone, then the other person, for example, grabs their back and pushes them under water. Or on the next pass, the other swimmer’s pull goes so that the elbow hits the side a little harder, Kasvio tells about his experiences.
