The French fashion house Louis Vuitton will start the new year with a new communications director.

Youssef Marquis has been named to succeed Benjamin Cercio, who left the label last month. Marquis will be based in Paris and report to Stefano Cantino, Vice President of Communications and Events at Louis Vuitton. In addition to press work, Marquis will also be responsible for working with celebrities and influencers as well as for fashion events.

Marquis completed his studies in business communication at the “École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication”. He started his career in 2009 at the French fashion house Givenchy, which is also part of the LVMH Group. There he was later promoted to communications director.
