Lothar Matthäus makes a passionate appeal to FC Bayern

Out of necessity, Aleksandar Pavlovic made his second starting eleven appearance for FC Bayern in the Bundesliga home game against VfB Stuttgart (3-0). The teenager did his job as a six so confidently that record national player Lothar Matthäus went into raptures.

Together with newcomer Raphael Guerreiro, Pavlovic formed the control center in the Munich game. The 19-year-old completed his workload with astonishing calm and also repeatedly caused danger in the opposing box with his set pieces.

According to “Sky” expert Lothar Matthäus, Pavlovic has proven that he is “in the cross” about playing for FC Bayern. So far he has played four Bundesliga games for the German industry leader.

Matthäus took the opportunity to appeal to the sporting leadership: “Even before the season, those in charge at Bayern emphasized that they have good young players. But you also have to believe in these boys. We have good young players in Germany, our U17 is Became world champion, you have to give the young people the chance!”

Matthäus calls for a talent offensive at FC Bayern

From Pavlovic’s performance against pursuers Stuttgart, the sport.de was honored with a strong grade of 2.0, Matthäus was absolutely thrilled.

“At 19, Pavlovic is good on the ball, impresses with his game intelligence and behaves excellently tactically. It was his first appearance over 90 minutes, we shouldn’t expect too much from him. But he is an additional alternative in the Bayern squad who you know you can rely on,” emphasized the 62-year-old.

Matthäus now hopes that other talents on Säbener Straße will follow a similar path. “That’s exactly what I would like to see at Bayern Munich: that players from the campus make the leap to the professionals and play in the Allianz Arena,” revealed the 1990 world champion.
