Lorena Miraballes Kukurian from Crucero Real Estate invites us to discover São Paulo, its attractions and investments

We already talked about Punta del Este, you told us about Porto Alegre and Gramado… Let’s continue going up and stop at a megalopolis like Sao Paulo, which is associated with business trips, but surely it must have many tourist attractions to combine work and pleasure .

Without a doubt! We are talking about one of the largest cities and among the first in the world along with Asian cities such as Tokyo, Shanghai, New Delhi or Dhaka in Bangladesh.

There is so much that it offers and so great that it takes time to deepen it and fully understand it.

Each neighborhood I would tell you is a city in itself.

One of the best-known attractions is the Ibirapuera Park, considered the green lung of the city. In it there are monuments, palaces, pavilions and obelisk. In addition, of course, to offer leisure activities: picnicking, playing sports, relaxing, drinking fresh coconut water and even admiring the works of art offered by the Afro-Brazilian Museum.

There are new attractions such as the largest giant wheel in Latin America, inaugurated last year, with a height of 91 meters and 42 cabins with capacity for 8 people that offer a 360° view of São Paulo in Parque Candido Portinari, next to Parque Villa- Wolves.

Business tourism, events and congresses is highly developed. No matter what time you go, there is always an active and interesting calendar in its different exhibition centers, be it Expo Center Norte, WTC Events Center, Anhembi Parque, etc. Unimaginable and attractive fairs of different industries and/or services, whether national or international, arouse the interest of visitors.

As for shopping centers, I have not yet been able to visit all of them, there are many! (pending matter). The Patio Paulista Mall in the vicinity of Avenida Paulista and Shopping Jardim Pamplona is very beautiful. But to mention Cidade Jardim, Iguatemi, Bourbom, Patio Higiénopolis, etc.

International gastronomy is very complete. It is a very cosmopolitan city where many communities coexist, some with more preponderance than others. The Japanese is the largest but there are also Lebanese, Italian, Armenian. This makes the culinary offer truly rich and a dance of flavors.

You cannot miss visiting museums such as the MASP, museum of modern art, sacred art or the football museum for sports lovers and other places of interest such as the Pinacoteca, Municipal Market or the Barrio da Liberdade (Japanese quarter). .

I recommend visiting Avenida Paulista, on Sundays and holidays it becomes pedestrian and is a festival of music and gastronomy.

There are very good jazz shows throughout the week in different bars such as Blue Note, Jazz nos fundos, Madeleine bar, All of Jazz, etc.

Taking a walk through the bohemian neighborhood Vila Madalena (the San Telmo of Buenos Aires) is very picturesque, the graffiti art in Beco do Batman with vibrant colors and the weekend nights sound to the rhythm of samba make the place a real pleasure.

And personally, it is a real pleasure and delight for me to stay in the Jardim Paulista neighborhood and walk its streets, especially Rua Oscar Freire, a true display of elegance and fashion, chic cafes, restaurants, bars, art galleries, which make of the place a sublime combination to feel enchanted.

Everything you tell about Sao Paulo and its activities to do is very nice and interesting. Where do you recommend staying and what care should be taken for Security?

A neighborhood that I would recommend and that is one of the most sought after is Jardim Paulista, which, as I told you before, I love. One of the “bairros nobres”, it is residential as well as commercial. There is a lot of sociability, on weekends it is a real pleasure to be there. You also enjoy living with a São Paulo society that slows down and gets out of the work turmoil, then relaxes and relaxes, walks, enjoys, plays sports, goes shopping. Elegant or sporty, she socializes in beautiful gastronomic places, walks her pets, most of them small, and always colorful.

In the neighborhood there is Rua Oscar Freire that I told you about, nearby are Ibirapuera Park, an Afro-Brazilian museum, Avenida Paulista, you can walk.

The neighborhood is very safe, you move and move with absolute peace of mind.

And for beach lovers, what places nearby are there to relax after a few days of business?

Well, look, the State of São Paulo is very complete, not only because you can access incredible beaches on the Atlantic coast like Guarujá in about two hours, but also, and although further away, the beaches of Ilhabela or Maresías and Juqueí in São Sebastião, or Félix Beach and Itamambuca Beach in Ubatuba to name a few among many others. It is worth noting that there are other possibilities. In May I had the opportunity to do a weight loss spa in the city of Sorocaba (two hours from São Paulo) and then when I returned in June, I participated in a tourism awards ceremony in Jundiaí (1 hour and a half ) were awarded precisely the best cities within the different categories of tourism. Within adventure tourism were recognized: Atibaia, Pindamonhangaba and Socorro or in ecotourism: Ilha Comprida, Socorro and Ibatuba or in health tourism: Aguas de São Pedro, Ibirá and Sorocaba. In other words, you can perfectly combine business and networking activities with beaches, adventure, ecotourism, sports, fishing, theme parks and health and wellness through the different spa proposals.

How is the Real Estate market in Sao Paulo? Are there investment opportunities?

Yes there will be! It is unimaginably big. Basically the projects are along the same lines as what we were talking about in Porto Alegre in terms of quality, amenities, and square meters. The two big differences that I have been able to find is that there are not so many churrasqueiras in the units of the projects, the height of the same is much higher, there are countless heliports on the rooftops. This can be seen very well when landing at the Congonhas airport, and there are usually complexes of very imposing buildings.

Regarding the values, the highest correspond to the noble neighborhoods that surround Ibirapuera Park: Jardim Paulista (30,000 reais per m2), Moema (30,000 reais per m2), Vila Mariana (22,000 reais per m2), Vila Nova Conceição the most expensive of all. (60,000 reais per m2) There are other coveted areas such as Itaim Bibi, Jardim Europa, Jardim America, Jardim Paulistano, etc.

As it could not be otherwise in a megalopolis like São Paulo, the world of real estate investment is very vast and attractive.

Thanks for all the information you gave us. It is always a pleasure talking to you.
